A Poll!

In the interest of fairness, democracy and public opinion, I want to poll you about my final website.

note: If you don't like these four options, leave me a comment and let me know what I should do. And don't forget to check back for poll results!

Personally I LOVE the walking tours idea. I hope you go with that. Sounds fun, interesting and best of all useful. Goodluck. By the way I am not sure if my poll choice reflects this because I didn't see any options pop up and then I accidentally clicked on one...

Joel, You are great for polling your ideas. My vote is the walking tour of Philly. I have an excellent tour guide book you may want to check out for ideas.

The poll was an excellent idea. My vote would be for Joanna Russ or Octavia Butler. I had never heard of these writers, as I don't read much science fiction. Feminist sci-fi writers really peak my curiousity though. You have probably read Ursula K. Leguin's "The Left Hand of Darkness?"

I vote for the walking tours idea -I love to walk in cities, or anywhere.

I recommend reading everything by Joanna Russ and Octavia Butler, but really good places to start are Russ's long short story/short novella called "Souls" or her novel The Female Man, although it's kind of long. And a good place to start with Butler is her novel Kindred or, if you like aliens in your sf, Dawn. You can't go wrong with Wild Seed or The Parable of the Sower.

Okay, so it sounds like the walking tour idea won, but feel free to make me an apple pie any time.

Kudos on the polling idea! Unforunately I'm too late to participate.
